AMICO Postdoc Project Passes Final Defense

AMICO and China University of Mining & Technology Jointly Hold Postdoctoral Defense for Dr. Che Siying

On the afternoon of April 28, 2025, the postdoctoral defense review for Dr. Che Siying, jointly cultivated by Ningbo AMICO and China University of Mining and Technology, was successfully held at AMICO Industrial City. The review panel consisted of advisors from the postdoctoral program, corporate mentors from the workstation, and industry experts.

Dr. Che's research systematically studied the long-term use of trivalent chromium electroplating solutions with brass substrates. The project closely aligned with current environmental policies and industrial green development needs. Through independent optimization of key components, the research improved the coating's gloss, hydrophobicity, and corrosion resistance, demonstrating significant potential for reducing production costs.

After evaluation, the panel unanimously recognized the project's solid research foundation and successful industrial application, which has delivered notable economic benefits. Dr. Che was approved to complete her postdoctoral program.
